Sherlock Season 3, Episode 1 - Television

The first episode of this show aired last night in the UK.  Procured shortly thereafter, and viewed with my wife.  A first-rate show, this episode provided multiple explanations for Sherlock's resurrection, while hinting to the audience that no explanation given was correct.  Furthermore, Sherlock winks, no  explanation would serve all masters.  Reminiscent of the casual waving off of the specifics of time travel in Looper, this satisfies those willing to accept the offered sequence of events while cunningly telling those who want more to deal with their lingering questions themselves.  The episode also subverts expectations of Watson's fiancé (she likes Sherlock!) and features a beautifully carnal moment between two adversaries.
